Polish Pavilion at the World Expo 2020

The Polish Pavilion at the World Expo 2020 in Dubai is a tribute to nature. Wood, a symbol of continuing rebirth, is the main material used. The entire area of about 12 thousand m² is protected with Osmo surface finishing: from the external façade, the interior walls of the structure, ceilings and floors, to stairs and balustrades.

“Poland. Creativity inspired by nature” is the theme of the building. This is why Osmo products were used in the creation of such a huge undertaking.  The pavilion designers wanted the finishing to showcase the natural colour of wood and, after drying, to create a matt, transparent, protective layer with high surface hardness and abrasion resistance.  The Siberian Larch wood is protected by Osmo One Coat Only HS Plus in a colour created specifically for the project.
